North Kildare Canoe Club

A big thanks to everyone for making the fund raiser a great success, with you help we raised 3000EUR which will massively help to cover some of the costs for the squad.

After the long cold winter the canal has finally started to warm up and we are back in business!

The latest news is the spring season of DCPL is under way now, the Munster Polo League finished up last Saturday 13th March and following a great final NK Swink finished second.

The first outdoor competition for the year has been announced and entries are now being accepted please see UL kayak club website for more details.

A new calender widget has been added to the side to give upcoming competition dates.

Training has been resurrected on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm for NKCC members and an open invite to all for games after 8pm once the clocks go forward

The annual club championship comtetition is being held in Athy this year.

The bank holiday weekend 30th & 31st of May will see the exodus of polo players to Galway for the next competition this year.

The Volvo Ocean Race will also be stopping in Galway for the week before and after and with the extra festivities planned to entertain the crowd it promises to be a fantastic weekend, fingers crossed the weather holds!
